FLAG DAY

Hello everyone I am so sorry that I haven't posted for a while. School has been fun but very busy, I now have homework (my old school didn't have home work). O.K i'll stop you probably want to hear about flag day. Well, to tell you the truth, I was a little nervous. I mean even if you are not superstitious, Friday the 13th is probably a day that you don't want to have flag day on. There were mostly good countries (in my opinion) on the list: , Zimbabwe, Mauritius, Vietnam, and lots of Europe but there were still some countries that, well...maybe didn't appeal to us. So, anyone would be nervous. As we walked into one of the class rooms, we saw loads of other people. So we sat next to some of my mom's friends. Time inched by extremely slowly. Finally, it began. They first showed the flag then they said the city, country, track(political, economics, ect.).  Towards the end the : Port Luis, Mauritius, pol/econ......................  Paul lastname!!!!! Oh my god Mauritius!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You might have to google that one.

Bye Denver

Bye Denver

On Tuesday, like the Tuesday in 5 days, I will not be living in Denver, the city that I've been living in for over 5 years. The city where I first saw my dog Nuala, met most of my friends, went through 1st-5th grade, and went halfway through middle school. The city where I got an iPad, an Xbox, a surprise trip to Disneyland, learned that I had a new baby cousin, and saw Barack Obama.  I started to like geography, math, and learned to read.  I read books about the true brutality of war, and met Katniss and Peeta.  I learned how to divide, multiply, and do algebra. I discovered new music like Imagine Dragons, Bastille, Eminem, and Macklemore.  I ( almost) climbed a fourteener (the snowstorm was too dangerous ), skied a black, went off a jump and saw bison.

I have had so much fun here, made so many friends and have such great memories. I will miss all the uniqueness of Denver and all my friends. But then again, isn't that what memories are for . . . to remember?

Hoşçakalın,

Ronan
