WE GOT THE JOB!!

On December 9th, I was home sick. My Dad was on a conference call with co-workers. Then, at 9:45 he came into my room. At first I thought he was going to tell me to stop playing on my Ipad, but then he said, "Ronan don't scream because I'm on a conference call, but the Foreign Service want's me to come to their January A-100 class(special diplomat training)." I jumped up and hugged him. Then he said we'll talk more after my conference call. I couldn't believe it. We were almost certain that we wouldn't be called up to the January class, but to the March class. Now,we will be living in a hotel for new year's eve and until the fifth or sixth of January. Then we will take a plane(probably Southwest) to D.C were we will spend a few days with our cousins before moving into or condo. I am super excited and ready for our new life.

Hunger Games Review

Review of the hunger games :  Mocking Jay Part One 

This was a very good transformation from a book to a movie. Although the first 30 minutes is underground, it is enough time to show the basics of district 13. The rest of the movie I won't give away but I will warn you it is very... Violent and creepy. Over all it is a very good movie with plenty of action.

Remember when on my first post  I told you about my dad's job? Well it worked out. Today my dad got put on the economic register list for the foreign service. He hasn't  quite got  the job but he is pretty close. In school  we have 3 days off of school and we are leaving to my grand dad’s house tomorrow.

This week has been COLD. Class has been fun too. In gym we learned how to do hands only CPR. In robotics, we used 3d modeling software. I just finished an essay about Malaria in language arts. Also the high this week was 22 degrees.

Week 3&4

Hello everyone! These past few weeks have been awesome. We had a total of 5 days off so we were doing mostly fun things in school. My soccer season is over and we only lost one game. Also my cousin Reed came and it was really fun ( we got lots of Halloween candy).

Je suis fatigué. This week has been very tiring. School was normal, we are writing essays in language arts and geography, that's about it . In soccer we beat real gold 3-2 in  a very close game that's about it this week.

HELLO EVERYONE!

Hello and thanks for reading week 2 of my blog. Last week was fun and very busy. At school, we did some fun things like: eating icecream sandwiches  in math, finishing a book (The Giver by Lois Lowry) in  language arts, making gliders in Robotics, showing the movement of tectonic plates using shaving cream and card board in science, soccer in P.E, studying the Mayans and Aztecs in geography, speaking French in French, and playing my clarinet in band. I also had a soccer tournament over the weekend, but, unfortunately, we didn't do so well, we lost, won, lost. Again, looking forward to traveling the globe!!!

Hello everyone who's reading this. If you are reading aloud hello everyone else. My name is Ronan and this is my first blog post of many. A little bit about me: I love geography, math, reading, and soccer. I play the clarinet and speak a little Turkish and French. I am writing this blog because in less than a year I will be leaving this country for my dad's job, the foreign service. The foreign service is the best job you can get pretty much. You get to travel the world, live in nice houses that are paid for by the government, and have MANDATORY vacation. As I said earlier this is my first blog of many. I will probably post another blog next week.
